So there. I am who I am. I am a woman, a mother, a wife, a self-published author, a jewelry maker, a blogger, a worker, a dog owner, and a person struggling to be better. Many of us are in the same boat, trying to better themselves. Some are happy and content with who they are. Some aren’t happy or content, they’re stuck. Then they are a few who strive for taking advantage of others and are not concerned with others’ feelings.
How do we become better people? First we have to want to be better and we have to take the actions to be better. Stay positive and ignore negative self talk. Emphasize with others. Say daily affirmations to remind yourself of your goals and write down these goals. Read them everyday. Believe you will reach these goals. Be kind to others.
Do not judge others. I don’t care about the color of your skin, or your religion, or who you love. (meaning if you are in a homosexual relationship) I don’t care. What I do care about is how you treat me and other people.
When I said I was struggling to be a better person, I mean I am working on being better. I am working on reaching my goals. And sometimes it does feel like a struggle. The fact is, we’re all human. I’m not perfect, nor do I claim to be. As I stated, I yam who I am.
